1. Shipping & Delivery

At Orchid Couture, we aim to provide a seamless and reliable shipping experience for our customers. As we operate using a drop shipping model, products are shipped directly from our third-party suppliers. This section outlines our shipping policies, delivery times, costs, and other important details.

1.1 Estimated Delivery Times & Possible Delays

The delivery time for orders depends on the product’s availability, the supplier’s processing time, and the customer’s location. Below are our estimated delivery times:

  • UK Orders: 7–14 business days
  • Europe Orders: 10–20 business days
  • International Orders: 14–30 business days

Important Notes:

  • These are estimated timeframes; actual delivery may vary due to customs processing, courier delays, or weather conditions.
  • Business days refer to Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
  • If an order is delayed beyond the estimated timeframe, contact hello@orchidcouture.co.uk.

1.2 Who Handles Delivery (Couriers & Shipping Partners)

Since Orchid Couture operates on a drop shipping model, our third-party suppliers handle shipping and work with various couriers. Common shipping partners include:

  • Royal Mail
  • Hermes (Evri)
  • DPD
  • DHL
  • UPS
  • Other international logistics providers (depending on supplier location)

Tracking details (if available) will be provided in the order dispatch email. Not all suppliers offer tracking services.

1.3 Shipping Costs & Free Shipping

  • Standard shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on location and order size.
  • Some products or promotions may include free shipping – this will be clearly stated on the product page.
  • Additional fees may apply for remote areas or express shipping (if available).
  • Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address. We are not liable for incorrect addresses.

1.4 International Shipping & Customs Charges

  • Shipping times may vary due to customs clearance.
  • Customers may need to pay import duties, taxes, or customs fees. These are not included in the product price.
  • Orchid Couture is not responsible for customs delays or refusal of customs clearance.

1.5 Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Shipments

If your order is delayed, lost, or marked delivered but not received:

  1. Contact the Courier First: Check tracking and contact the courier.
  2. Notify Orchid Couture: Email hello@orchidcouture.co.uk within 10 days of the estimated delivery date.
  3. Investigation: We’ll investigate with the courier and supplier.
  4. Resolutions:
    • If confirmed lost: A replacement or refund may be offered depending on supplier policy.
    • If marked as delivered but not received: We’ll help file a claim, but refunds/replacements are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for stolen packages after delivery confirmation. Please provide a secure delivery location.

1.6 Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery Attempts

  • If delivery fails due to a wrong address, redelivery fees may apply.
  • If a package is returned after failed attempts, the customer may be charged for return shipping.
